2010 African Cup of Nations

Draws for the 2010 African Cup of nations have been held in Luanda Angola and some fascinating encounters have been thrown up by the draws including Cote D’Ivoire; led by Didier Drogba, against Michael Essien and the rest of Ghana’s Black Stars in Group B while Egypt face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Group C.

Tunisia face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroun in Group D while Angola in Group A will face Algeria that dramatically made the 2010 World Cup after defeating Egypt by a lone goal in the play-off match played in Sudan on Wednesday.

It’s sure going to be a tournament of goals; actually, we hope for it, especially with the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Obafemi Martins, Emmanuel Adebayor and co in attendance…

Below is the group draws

Group A

Angola, Malawi, Mali, Algeria

Group B

Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso

Group C

Egypt, Nigeria, Mozambique, Benin

Group D

Cameroun, Tunisia, Zambia, Gabon
